Meet Roman Baber

Roman Baber served York Centre in the Provincial Parliament from 2018 to 2022. He always put his constituents first, most notably for children with autism and in favour of a balanced public health response – at a great personal cost.

Roman is passionate about Canada’s democracy and preserving economic opportunity for the next generation of Canadians. He is known for saying what he believes and doing what he believes is right.

Roman immigrated to Canada at age 15 and settled directly at Sheppard and Bathurst. He attended highschool at W.L. Mackenzie, obtained a B.A. from York University and graduated law school at the University of Western Ontario. Roman was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and practiced civil and commercial litigation until his provincial election in 2018.

Roman resides in Bathurst Manor and practices commercial and public interest litigation. He is a big fan of the Toronto Raptors and boxes in his spare time.
